These phones are pretty good (they seem loud to me but I don't have hearing problems) . I wish it had call blocking (and it should for the price!), but more than that, I wish it was a little more user-friendly. My 82-year-old aunt has a hard time remembering what all the buttons are for, so she still has trouble hearing what she wants on the phone. When I'm around to fix things, she likes the phone. It seems expensive for what you get. I ordered 2 additional handsets and a base with an answering machine. Too bad the people who need these things the most are charging crazy money for them. She only wore them for a few months so I can't comment on durability.
