Living alone, using the built-in oven has always been wasteful and took forever. I have a traditional basket fryer but I needed more space to cook my food. I've been looking for ovens/fryers for months (literally) and was so happy when Ninja announced this beauty. First, it's big. Yes, it's called XL, but it needs to be said. But it's not so big that it doesn't fit on my counter under my cabinets, and there's plenty of room. It also comes with every accessory you could need and its controls are so easy to use. Most importantly, the performance of this oven is out of this world. So far I've baked an egg casserole, used the pizza function, used reheat, and air fried steak and potatoes. Everything came out perfect - crispy, hot, crunchy, you name it. There's an initial learning curve as it doesn't take as long to cook as it does in a conventional oven, but if you're already familiar with air fryers this isn't new. Plus it's so quiet! I couldn't believe it. If you are looking for an oven and/or air fryer, you can't go wrong!
