Wow, they're softer than I expected! Muslin fabric is usually a little scratchy. This one differs in that they used fleece material on the back of the bib which I have never seen before. Usually this is a muslin or fleece bib made of cotton and polyester, but I've never come across a muslin and fleece combination. It's so soft to the touch and against the skin. I also like that they are slightly larger (area) and have a scoop neck instead of the usual V-shaped pocket square. This bib could better protect my baby's clothes from saliva and spilled food. I also love the gender neutral colors of this particular set. While you get a large number of bibs (eight), I highly recommend purchasing more than one set if you don't intend to wash baby clothes on a daily basis. My child changes several bibs a day and we didn't have time to wash them to replenish supplies. At the same time, they dry quickly. I am VERY happy with this set and highly recommend trying these bibs.
