Review on Chemical Guys BUF_HEX_Kits_8P Hex Logic Buffing by Anthony Cornelius

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good value for money. The cleaner is a concentrate so the picture is a bit misleading.

Great starter kit with everything you need to start polishing. As for the quality of the pad, the foam itself doesn't differ much between the most popular brands, as far as I know the foam itself is made by the same manufacturer. It's less clear who makes the foam backing at the manufacturer, so there may be differences between brands. The quality is good and sufficient for the average Joe/Jane. It's worth considering what type of pads you need for the type of correction you're doing. I am almost 100% sure that most people will not use some of these pads at all, particularly the yellow and orange pads which have the highest level of "trimming" and are only used on major repairs. The picture shows a reunvenator for cleaning pads in the form of a spray. That's a little misleading. A trigger spray is included, but the liquid itself is a concentrate, meaning you can't just toss the trigger spray in a bottle, you'll need to make a diluted spray first. However, this is fantastic as it means you get more bang for your buck with the concentrate and one bottle will last you a long time. I bought two sets so I'm set for life. lol Like I said, for the hobbyist willing to do their own color grading and maintenance, you can't beat this set. You don't have to buy anything if you build your own car once or twice a year.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Some bugs
