I think they are best used for the driveway to the house. The key to any ramp is that the full weight of the trailer is on the ramp before the tire hits the incline. This helps the ramp not slide so I added an extension. They can't always find the perfect product, sometimes they need a little help. I screwed the ramps onto a piece of plywood, cut off the side tabs and glued them to fill the holes on the other side of the ramp. I live in North Dakota, so I don't want my tires to be in contact with frozen ground all winter, which is my main goal.
