This product will forever be recommended to anyone and everyone on my behalf as an auto smoker. I'm not sure about smoke absorption in general, but I can say with confidence that this product doesn't "mask" the smell like a heavy perfume or air freshener would, it really just eliminates it. it can be installed on the back of a used car (I'm a driver, this is a discourse on my removal scenario described to you) that has been stoned for more than 10 years and still somehow manages to undo not just the old one installed in Smoke, but new smoke hangs in the air. Well, with all of the above, yes, once the gel pack is gone, yes, the smoke old and new will return, so the proof of guaranteed satisfaction will be your own experience (i.e. just trying to get rid of the smell, start a new one car that has not been smoked in and the current owner wants to reduce long-term damage by starting to smoke in it, or a variety of other mixed "odor" scenarios that are attempted to be eliminated). My rating is based solely on personal experience with a used, smoky car. If you're placing one of these somewhere other than the vehicle, or trying to eliminate a different smell, I honestly can't call anyone "successful," but I'll leave it up to you. I smell a strong odor of tobacco smoke in a tiny enclosed space, such as a B. a vehicle that can be successfully controlled with this product. I hope this helps anyone who is hesitant to skip or choose this next product. 😊
