Review on Slopehill IQ Perfetto Hair Dryer: Innovative Brushless Motor, Microfilter, Oxy Active Technology, LED Display (White) by Sandra Saksena

Buy some ear tips

This is a decent hair dryer for the price and features. It's lightweight, powerful, and might be a good choice for some people. Unfortunately I regret this purchase. The most important feature I need in a hair dryer is the brushless motor. I have found that most hair dryers fail within 3-12 months due to defective brushes or other problems in their motors (probably due to planned obsolescence). Brushless motors tend to be more reliable and are among the cheaper options. The problem is that an engine running at over 100,000 rpm makes an extremely high pitched and loud noise. Let me explain: I'm used to hair dryers working almost continuously - the standard noise of a hair dryer doesn't bother me. It's a much higher tone, which means that while technically it's a lower dB level, it cuts my ears significantly. were perfect for me. They seem to want it to be ultra light and portable, so they used absurdly high RPMs (with absurdly high pitch and attendant noise). Too bad.** Update after 4 months **This dryer continues to serve well even with extreme use over 4 months. This is about the point where the typical Con-Air hair dryer or similar brushed motor hair dryer would die. It has no power reduction, and the self-cleaning function is also convenient. In the meantime I've gotten used to the sound and regret this purchase less than at first. If you can tolerate noise, this is a great dryer. I'll update again if and when that fails.
