Purchased 2 Swagcycle Pro's for myself and spouse a few weeks back as an alternate means to get around locally following my recent work retirement. I must report the bikes are a hoot to ride around, and the bike riding experience exceeded my expectations. Set-up out of the box was not difficult. I had to pump the tires to recommended pressures before riding, and provide for an initial battery charge for 4-5 hours. I'm a senior, and a big guy -- fully clothed with back pack, weigh-in at 250 lbs.

Pros
  • USB port; plug your mobile devices into the electric bike’s USB port to stay fully charged wherever you go.Fold Pro’s handlebars and stem for easy storage in trunks, small closets and other tight spaces
Cons
  • Heavy for a folding bike

We shall see! on my review.

I just received my Swaggy Bike and was so exited, I had delusional grandeur thinking of all the places in proximity I can actually visit on Google map. It came packaged with instructions however, I used every curse word in the book trying to get the seat installed. Thanks to the video Jack posted on here, I was able to stop and restart watching 5+ times and see how he went about the whole process. I glared at it while it was charging and even thought I'd get on for my neice. Then.the moment of…

  • Limited warranty period

There are some products out there that don't get the attention it deserves. This is one of them. I have travelled extensively with this, and it has enhanced my trips with added mobility, saving time, plus what a it's a joy to ride. First, I usually hesitate buying things like bikes online. But it came well packaged, carefully thought out, and it is a sturdy rugged bike in itself. As you can see from the photo, it is on top of the mountain (approx 12,000 ft elevation). I used the bike to bring…

Pros
  • Assemblying was easy and the pride is smooth. We love it.
Cons
  • Expensive compared to traditional bicycles

A cheap Ebike that's what you get is what you pay for.

Now I don't write a lot of reviews cause I simply don't have the time, however, after using this bike and having to purchase it twice, I feel that I must. I'll explain via the rating features on Best Buy:Easy to Assemble:This is generally true. When you receive the bike, it comes with some simple instructions. Simply shift the handlebars into place, assemble the bike seat, and fill the tires! You have a working Ebike. Although the seat is rather tricky to wrap your head around, once you…

  • Replacement batteries are expensive

After a long period of research I choose this bike to ride to work an avoid the awful traffic of South Beach. I'm working at 8 miles distance from home so I thought that a 15 miles range electric bike would be the perfect solution. In my first ride the battery died exactly at 6 miles, so I had to walk the other 2. Happened the same in the way back home.I contacted Best Buy customer service and they only put me in contact with the seller, nothing more.Swagtron Support service is terrible,or…

Great for one-way trips!

I ride this thing every day to and from work with no complaints. My work is 7 miles away. I always have to charge it at work because by the time I get there my battery is at around 20%. So besides the battery there’s no real issues. I can say that it will never go to 18 mph. I do 15 on a flat Road fine but my average is probably around 12. Even holding the bike up with no resistance the speedometer only goes to about 17 with no weight on the wheels (I’m 160 lbs). If I was to write a product…

Cons
  • May not fit larger individuals comfortably

All in all a good little e-bike.

Sooooo, just like the other reviews say it definitely does not go 18mph even with the app downloaded and the speed modification on the app. It goes average 12mph. That being said I really enjoy this little scooter but I think the peg placement could be better. Why on the front wheel? It went 8 miles on the first go and had the last bar of life left so not sure about the 15.5 miles on one battery life. I don’t really want to test it because I don’t want to walk. Lol anyway, the breaks work…

Decent Bike in my review

This is a decent bike for the price and convenience, but it has its drawbacks. I have been using this bike for the past three weeks to travel about 3 miles each way on mostly level terrain through the streets of San Francisco. I'm 6'0" tall and about 200 lbs.The Good:- It is very compact. I can easily throw it in the trunk of my car or stow it out of the way on a ferry or in a bar.- It is lightweight. Easy to carry around with one hand when not riding.- It's sturdy. It feels pretty solid…

Cons
  • Risk of electrical malfunctions

Fast and Compact Electric Bike

I purchased this electric bike mainly for commute purpose and also quick errand runs near home. I have done some research online and end up buying this SwagCycle Pro mainly because 1. The foldable design makes it easy to carry it anywhere with me. I can take it on public transit or store it in my car trunk. 2. It offers up to 15 miles range per charge and has a hidden compartment for charging cable so I have no problem charging it outside my home if necessary. It took me about 10 minutes to…

Light weight, fun to ride

I have been riding this one for my daily commute over a month. Though I wish it is a bit better, I like it so far. I had a similar bike with similar spect that I bought from Costco. Though I live it slightly better, I had to return it because of the unreliable brake. It only came with one brake.Max speed around 15 Mile per hour, max range is about 10 miles based on my experiences.I would recommend not to use the bike rack bus provides. The brake touches the rack due to the small wheel size on…

Oh g0d, what just happened.

Short version: Great idea, poor execution and build.Pros: Quality materials overall, well thought out design.Cons: Battery does not charge to 100%, breaks on first use, app required to reach Max speed (why?)I was all giddy about this purchase until it arrived. The assembly was fairly straightforward although I would prefer not having to assemble the seat as it's not intuitive (I am the opposite of a handyman). I charge the bike for eight hours hoping to ride one mile away to the gym at 5:40a in

Pros
  • ‎42 Pounds
Cons
  • Potential for theft due to high value

Rear tire failure in my review

I bought this bike for my son.every month/every other month we have to replace the rear tire. Now I read the reviews and see other people are having the same issues. The front tire is great. Even a yr and a half now.
