After a long period of research I choose this bike to ride to work an avoid the awful traffic of South Beach. I'm working at 8 miles distance from home so I thought that a 15 miles range electric bike would be the perfect solution.In my first ride the battery died exactly at 6 miles, so I had to walk the other 2. Happened the same in the way back home.I contacted Best Buy customer service and they only put me in contact with the seller, nothing more.Swagtron Support service is terrible,or worse. They asked me the same question again and again (did you charge the battery totally? Overnight? How is the terrain? How much do to weight?), not providing any viable solution.After I filled a form for a repair/return authorization, the indications are that I have to paid to send the bike to repair.a 30 pounds package from Miami Beach to Indiana is almost the price of the bike!I'm really disappointed. We are talking about a $500 bike, at least a decent customer service would it be appreciated.Everybody is taking about looking for ways to save the environment, fight the massive traffic routes, living more healthy lives, but are empty speeches, all alternatives in the market are ineffectives, companies are spreading misleading advertising, and we are trapped in a no solutions cycle.Finally Best Buy made an exception and allow me to return the bike for no cost even when the return period passed (thank you Best Buy!). Sadly, Swagtron is selling the bike for 399.99 dollars now, so I'm loosing $100 anyways because the refund will be for the current price. Well, better recover $400 than nothing but, as usual, the affectation is in the customer side.My suggestion, buy this bike only if you are expecting short rides and if you have a lot of patience to deal with support-customer services. Or if you want to ride just for fun, it is not reliable for anything else.
