I love this lamp! It matches my skylight, looks good and the design lets in a lot of light. I needed a plug to replace the horrible neon light above my sink. It plugs into an outlet above the cabinets, powered by a wall switch. The length of the cord is way longer than I need but may be ok for others. The downside for me is the switch is closer to the plug than the bulb so I had to rearrange what was on the socket. never mind I used different hooks to hang the cord because I didn't need the silver trim. I can highly recommend this lamp.
