I have a very highly rated (here on Amazon) condensate pump, but I've noticed that the one-way valve just doesn't work. Since my condensate pump is currently pumping 9 feet, after the pump shuts off, the water in the hose flows back into the tank and activates the pump again. again and again. I tested these one way valves in the sink and then on the pump and they work great! Now I have to say. What kills condensate pumps is the crap that grows in the tank. I have to imagine this stuff clogging up one of those valves as well. So change them when you change the heating/cooling filter!
