Just four months after I installed my new Tahoe on the windshield, the slimy, gooey goo that is gel glue started to melt, slide, and spread everywhere! You can see it in the photos. I just spent 3 hours using all sorts of chemicals to remove residue and slime from my inner windshield and dash parts. Unfortunately, my windshield is still a mess that I'll be trying to clean for a few more days. If you need WD-40, then glass cleaner, then other chemicals to get your car back to normal after removing your handheld, then you clearly have a poorly made and designed product. Don't let this pathetic thing mess up your car. Ouch. and for the record, it worked really well for the first month or two before it started slipping with its melting gel.
