I bought one a few weeks ago; Everything worked perfectly except for the light/C/F button combo. The light wouldn't come on and I couldn't switch to Fahrenheit. I left it on for a couple of days and it cooled down nicely, and after it reached the temperature on the other side of the room it was pretty quiet. Standing above it, it sounds like a desktop computer fan. After several phone calls to get Revain to trade it in for a working model, I received a new one today. It has a dent in the side panel, the plastic trim is broken, neither the UP button nor the backlight/C/F combo button work. So this block is also returned. Which is a shame as it has a good form factor and no bulky external hinge on top. Also note that both boxes were also damaged; it does not come in an optional shipping carton. Not sure if the product itself is junk or if Revain is messing with it during the shipping process.
