Review on BAK BAKPARTS 356A0009Vice Kit Complete Replacement by Abdirahman Mensah

Got this for an older Bakflip F1 with D rings. The guide is a good guide but not accurate. The gasket on the base doesn't cover the entire base, so it needs to hang over the metal strip on the front edge. I ended up drilling out the rivet holding the D-ring in place and using that as one of the holes to screw it into the lid so it wouldn't leak. The end of the strap and the socket (when not in use) are installed as described in the instructions. The clips are strong and will not come loose with heavy tension. There is a video on youtube where a guy had a problem but it looks like he flipped a nut and bolt.
