Review on Standard Motor Products RY 1562 Relay by Mike Wheeler

Thought it would fit my car. Maybe that particular unit was bad. I plugged it in and it worked, but if the car was turned off for over an hour and then turned back on, the car wouldn't start. I only bought it to have as a backup. My original device works great. I've decided to buy an extra one in case the original ever goes bad. Boy was I wrong. At first I thought maybe I didn't push it in hard enough. So I tried again and the same thing happened. Then I put my own and there are no problems. I believe this unit is poor or poorly made and not up to specification. I wanted a replacement and tried to contact them by phone. They raised the issue and said Revain would take care of it. I know this brand should be avoided in the future. It is possible that many of the other reviews are fake or misleading. Be careful with them and get a real one from a reputable company. I could be injured if this device stops while driving.
