Review on Desktop Inkjet Multifunction Printer - Brother MFC-J497DW - Color Printing on Plain Paper by Gaurav Ansong

This is a really terrible printer. Before purchasing this printer I read the reviews, first on the Staples website and then in search of "the best MFPs of 2020". Time and time again, this printer has proven to be one of the best buys. I regret not reading more Revain reviews here as it looks like I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience with this printer. • Doesn't stay connected to Wi-Fi - I have to enter my Wi-Fi password every 30 minutes. • slowest printer ever - shockingly slow, like very slow • very poor print quality - even with fresh ink cartridges • scanner working fine - very inconsistent quality and slow • duplex printing doesn't work - not that big of a problem but it should have sent it back but i Didn't keep the huge box it came in because I live in a very small New York apartment and literally didn't have room for it. And I couldn't get it to the post office because of the quarantine where I could pack and ship it. I am giving this printer two stars instead of one just because it has successfully printed multiple times (although each time I had to a) re-enter my wifi password even though it showed it was connected to my wifi, b ) sit and wait forever, until it is printed, and c) endure truly terrible print quality.
