Meridian Received today. Solidly built and comfortable to hold. The design is heavy, but not so much that it's impossible to travel with. However, it's bulky and more likely to get scratched if it's in a pocket with keys or other metal objects. This creates a huge flame when set to the highest position. The flame is also very easy to blow out, so if you want wind resistance you might want a jet lighter. However, the metal flame dial and flint tray make it worth owning. The tank window is very easy to read but must be read upside down with the lighter. I have a first generation Xikar Mag. In the end after 2 years there were problems with it, so I bought it. Meridian will be my choice now. So, 5/5: for its simplicity, build, comfort, style and overall fire. I expect a lot of kilometers from him.
