Good product but too small for my brush

The top of the cap was too small to hold my brush. I tried to push it in, but I saw that the plastic was straining and it would tear if I continued. Unfortunately too cheap to return, but I was disappointed with the product. I've never had a shaving brush with such a small thin handle that fit in this hole.
