I bought it in September. Perfect for what I need. Ordinary lighters, even those with flexible necks, could not light a candle without tipping the glass sideways. This one had a strong flame and was fine, just hold it face down on the big YC glass and viola. About a month ago, despite refueling, the flames subsided. Couldn't bring it back to where it was when it was first bought (remember the flamethrower!). Yesterday I thought it might need cleaning so I took a cotton swab and ran it lightly along the inside of the flame hole. Thought it might be soot. There was no cotton swab. The lighter has completely stopped working. I immediately ordered another one because I liked it so much but it doesn't clean anymore. If this doesn't last more than two months I'll look for another brand.
