I ordered these to replace the ones used in the Weiman set. They are not intended to be used on their own and must be used in conjunction with Weimaqn Glass Hob Cleaner and Polish. If you use regular cleaners and detergents, you will end up ruining your cooktop. This process takes about 10 minutes, but I promise your hob will look like new. First I apply some cleaner/polish to the hob and clean it with these pads. I let it dry just like you would put wax on your car. Then I take a paper towel and wipe the entire cooktop. Finally, I take the microfiber cloth you would use to clean your car and buff the entire top until it shines. It takes about 10 minutes but my goodness it looks amazing. And the Weiman cleaner makes it easy to re-clean for multiple uses before you have to go through the process again. These pads are fantastic when used the way they are intended to be used.
