Arai Corsair-X - Accessories

Update (11/11/20): Installed about 5 weeks ago, used MF for 3 weeks (1 hour on the road) and still 70% battery. . Also used the radio. One thing I found out is that there are two separate volume controls; one resides on the Bluetooth device (e.g. a phone) and the other resides on the ILM itself. Most Bluebooth headsets work by changing the volume of the device directly, but this one is independent, meaning that if You have ILM max but the phone is LOW, it's overall silent. When I connect BT, I set the volume to MAX and then adjust it with the ILM volume control. Summary: I use this for music on my daily commute. Most of the way is highway and I'm driving with earplugs so I'm curious if it's loud enough compared to the wind noise. Quickly checked in the garage and the sound is good (not exhausted yet) and the call quality (I speak) was fine on the other end. I tried them but they were too thick so I removed them and it's much more comfortable. The bracket holds the rim of the helmet in place without worrying that it might come loose. When you sit on the desk/desk, it's the mount that makes contact, not the cables, so don't worry about long-term damage. Pros: Good fit and finish; several attachment options (bracket or Velcro); large handle that is easy to manipulate with gloves; intuitive jog functions (once you learn them). Disadvantages: none. Conclusion: 5 stars for €70 is a great product. I'm driving alone, so I can't test peer-to-peer.
