The turtle neck is just as described and pictured. Although it is a tad bit see through, it works well with black or flesh colored undergarments. I can't understand any of the bad reviews because if you order the proper size, there should not be any issues with this wonderfully soft and forgiving item. The fabric stretches, which I am happy about, as I placed an order for a medium, after reading reviews, and I am glad that I did. I am a size 12, 5' 6", 160 lbs and very curvy. The size medium is a perfect fit and I am sure that a large would have been way too big. Please be advised that this item clings to your body and will show all of your bumps if you have any. It hugs in all the right places. I will be ordering more in different colors.
