Review on ACDelco 718Q Original Equipment Spark by Mark Bearden

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worth every penny. in aftermarket

They are durable and generally well made. They snap into place with a clearly tactile click on the connector and distributor. They are of sufficient length so you don't have to try to stretch them. I tested them with a water spray (not recommended) and they had no problems. You have some problems. They are not marked for the mating plug. I had to replace a few to get the correct lengths of cable in the right places. Like I said, they click when they go. Make sure you feel this click. These connectors are tight so they won't slide in or out easily. It's desirable but a pain for those rear end caps you can't get good leverage on. I had misfires because the cap was on but the plug was not mated to the connector. If you have applied silicone grease to the dust boots, the connectors on the manifold can be difficult to remove, as if they were glued on. The solution is to pry up the edge of the shoe with your fingernail just enough to twist the connector a bit and then it will pop off. I like her for all of that. Yes, they're expensive, but that's ignition. Who wants to deal with crazy wires?
