Review on 🏠 BOSTITCH CR3DGAL 4 Inch Roofing: Comprehensive Collection of 200 High-Quality Quantities by Michael Walker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality roofing nails

I pierced them with my Bostitch roofing nails. It may not be easy to talk long about roofing nails, so this review will be short and sweet. First, why five stars? These nails went perfectly into my Bostitch RN46-1 nailer. Bostitch RN46 3/4-Inch to 1-3/4-Inch Coil Roofing Nailer The last project I used them on my garage slab used about 1200 nails and they never snagged, skipped or set. That's five stars in my book. They are galvanized, not hot-dip galvanized. They were well packed in a box, in layers separated by thin cardboard, and the spools were individually tied with a thin rubber band. They simply loaded into the nailer with no fuss on the roof. It's worth noting that 7200 nails is really a big number. This will far exceed your needs if you are just building a small shop, garage or shed. This box is suitable for projects the size of a house. Approximately 1,800 square foot ranch style single family home, I estimate, using standard bitumen shingles requiring 4 nails per shingle. (People in high wind areas - they need more) I used about a sixth of the box on my garage so I have plenty left. Keep that in mind when deciding to buy a box of this size. To me this is decent value as they were free (in my case) and saved me a separate trip to my local big cardboard store. It may seem like a small saving, but my time is worth something and my truck's fuel economy is terrible. Although I work as a contractor, I'm not a roofer by trade; These nails made the job smooth and quick. As these nails are tied together with thin copper wire there is always a chance of some of them coming loose and bouncing back at you - always wear safety goggles and earmuffs and other gear appropriate to your job when using them. (Sorry, I can't shake off the training from my safety time.) I can't tell if these nails work equally well with every other brand of nail, but they worked flawlessly for me. Five stars for a good product at a reasonable price that works as advertised and is recommended for use with the Bostitch RN46-1 nailer.
