I received a kit that included an EBL USB charger and 8 EBL AA NiMH rechargeable batteries hoping to put my LED candle kit on a diet. I had to replace these batteries every 2-3 weeks as they ran all night. Buying traditional disposable AA alkaline batteries began to generate profits. These EBL batteries last about the same or maybe a little less than disposable batteries, but then I can pop them into the charger and they're ready to go again in a couple of hours. A little later I bought a pack of Panasonic EnLoop AA NiMH rechargeable batteries and they seem to last a bit longer. EnLoop batteries are perfectly charged in this EBL charger. I'm hoping to get lots and lots of chargers from both battery packs, but it doesn't take a lot of chargers to beat disposable alkaline on cost. Happy with battery and charger. Please note that this charger is USB powered and cannot be plugged into a wall outlet.
