You can't get a better monitor for less. MSI is the king of cheap. However, I have to say that the peak brightness seems a bit low to me and the setting is grayed out. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget who wants to play 2k, that's all it claims, but there are issues with dimming, occasional dimmers in brightness, not the best option for some games. I have another MSI 1k monitor that doesn't fall off in brightness and is adjustable. I'm not sure what the problem is, but that alone makes it 2 stars. The top bezel is quite thick. So if you're using a webcam or light, make sure it fits 5/8" when you're not using your hand. This monitor has no dimming zones and doesn't support HDR, but for $280 for a 2k monitor you can't get that anywhere else, so full marks apply, minus the occasional dimming that could be a software or settings issue. If you're on a budget and have a decent GPU I'd go with the 3080+, but you can save and spend twice as much and have a monitor that's twice as good, the choice is yours.
