Just brought to a condition where front and rear pads are required. Bought for my jeep. It works great with minimal effort and I was only able to install it safely using my leather craftsman (although wrenches would have helped). At first I was a little worried it wouldn't attach securely, but it's been a few months and it still hasn't budged. Where the cable peeks out from under the plate, it's stuck. If you have a plastic cable, you may need to use a gasket or route it differently to avoid chafing. After ordering this I saw other models that can be screwed on and reclined. It works better with my traction. Something to consider.
