Review on πŸ₯Š Heavy Bag Spring for Ringside Training by Jeff Rothstein

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not suitable for 100 lb bags

I bought a 100 lb bag of professional fill and this spring it's under-bouncing everywhere. Bought the title nib which is meant for 125 lb sacks and it does the job better. They both stop most of the punch, but the ring-side spring then bounces all over the place, shaking my Valor Stand even more. I can easily bounce the bag up and down by pulling it down with very little finger strength. The spring stretches only slightly with the weight of the bag. The head spring absorbs just as much shock, but does not overreact afterwards. Bags should swing, DO NOT OPEN. If you have a bag hung very high and only hit the bottom half, the bounce will not be as strong. I recommend this spring on ring up to 70 lbs. might work with 80 but not sure. The mainspring is the real deal for 100-pound bags.
