Used many times for steaks, pork and lamb chops. Good grip, sharp blades, does the job. The second benefit is that it helps with the marinade as it creates lots of holes for the sauce. Ideal for cheap cuts and less greasy cuts. There is a very distinct difference between meat that will tenderize and meat that will not. Combined with the right thickness of meat and some cornstarch, it will tenderize most meats. As long as the springs and blades last a year, it's definitely worth it. The lower plastic element can be removed in no time at all for easy cleaning.
