The bodice does not support the bust.
I didn't like that the lining didn't support my chest so the padding literally protruded over my chest. I had to remove the padding so I could wear it. If not, the rest of the costume would fit perfectly. If I had gone up a size it would have been too big as the sleeves were quite long anyway. The floor fitted perfectly.
