Apple's specifications for my 2.7GHz Intel i7 MacBook Pro state that the maximum amount of RAM that can be installed is 8GB. NOT CORRECT! I took a chance and ordered these memory modules and now my reports are 16GB 1333MHz DDR3. Now you only need this update if you run LOTS of apps at the same time, process high-resolution videos and photos, or are a power user. Surfing the web, answering emails and doing word processing will save you money. But if you need more RAM on your MacBook Pro and think 8GB is your limit, THINK AGAIN!
