These shorts are cute but DO NOT have any stretch in them. If you have a small pooch the waist band will be okay but if you have thick thighs then I’d recommend going 1-2 sizes up. I’m in between size 8 and 10 and bought a L and they’re okay on my thighs when I stand but restrictive when I sit down. Not curvy friendly and not loose like the picture
