I liked that the item was metal instead of plastic, but the screws came loose very easily. Even after caution. The small Allen key didn't fit properly and when I tried to tighten the latch on the metal cable the screws wouldn't tighten. I had to use a slightly larger one to tighten the screws and the hole drilled inside wasn't big enough and the threads on the screws came loose. I watched the video to make sure I did everything right, but I'm no newbie to mechanical tasks. This is a product defect. I really wanted it to work. I ended up getting the whole part from Honda and also installed a new latch and cable. I hope this shortcoming gets fixed so that other less mechanical people can use this product.
