Review on πŸ’‘ Xscorpion CB150A 150-Amp Resettable Circuit Breaker with Manual Reset by Sammie Rodriguez

Cheap in price, cheap in quality. Hi-Vis Shield

I added an extra fuse box to my Jeep and decided to use an easy to reset switch instead of the built in fuse. After drilling some new screw holes and installing two screws, I slide the Xscorpion breaker into place. To set it flush with the wall, I tapped it lightly with a spacer and a rubber mallet, and the spring mechanism broke immediately. If I had known it was so fragile I would have filed the holes with a rat tail instead of holding the switch in place. The product still worked after that, but you had to hold down the button and push the lever yourself. Then a few weeks later I had the battery replaced. Upon inspecting the new battery, it struck me immediately that the 'professional' installer must have somehow struck the breaker, destroying the fragile bezel and any enduring functionality of the unit. Result. This thing is just cheap, in many ways. It's really too fragile for some uses, so keep that in mind. Sometimes you can get a fake deal. In my experience, this is not the case here. Choose Bussmann and save money and worries in the long term. In any case, this is a copy of this device, even in size! Hi. At least I didn't have to cut a new screw hole. (Note: In the picture I replaced it with a lower rated switch (100a) as 150 turned out to be more than I needed)
