My 7 year old got into the yo-yo and as soon as she wanted to learn some fancy yo-yo tricks we knew we had to give her something better than the plastic she got from her birthday gift bag. It has everything you need and more to feel like a "professional yo-yoer". She is very happy and we are happy with the quality. We are now buying another one for our son who has been watching his older sister and now wants to try and learn his own tricks :)
