Tire tread was identical compared to origami. The attached picture shows a newly mounted tire on the left and the removed original tire on the right. In fact, they are almost the same size, although the original looks much smaller when removed and not inflated. The only difference that bothers me so far is that the new tires feel "springier" which may indicate that the sidewalls aren't as stiff. For grass cutting and other light work this isn't a problem, but I'll definitely update this review after using the forks or FEL a few times. In terms of savings over OEM tires, the effort has so far been worth it. For those who don't normally mount tires, pay someone to do it. You can do this, but for a small fee, save yourself the headache and just take them to your local store.
