I'll probably attach it to the block but it's a quality material at a low price. And wow, the seller is interactive and knowledgeable. Do not be shy. Just buy it. Worth the price and more and although I haven't used the formulations I've heard good reviews. This brought the sharpness of my Condor Nessmuck(sp?) to a new level. I just used the smooth side and the suede side dry after stoned them and wow. This edge is sharp and will last. A fantastic value for money investment for those who want a sharp blade. Not all sharpeners use slings. Big mistake. This leaves a sharp but brittle wire edge on the blade. I strongly recommend you try this. Try the old belt first, then upgrade to see what it does. It's much better than my old belt, but I got the idea from the belt. I'll update, the connections are terrible but somehow I don't see it. That's a day and night difference in the sharpness and quality of the blade. Just be confident and step away from yourself, backwards (spine forward) and at a very tight angle. Try drying first until you get the right angle. I hope this helped. Hooray, August, I promised to tell you about the two preparations that came with it. They're decent and do their job, but I'll probably take something else when they go out. That being said, most of my blades are as sharp as can be, and the abrasives allow for a mirror finish on the edge.
