A bit small though.

I knew it was a bit small before I bought it (I would have preferred a 10 inch line). Valuation. This is a high quality piece of leather and I appreciate that both the white and green composition are included. IF YOU FIRST TIME USING THE LINE: Here's a trick to evenly distribute the linkage on the lanyard - apply just a few drops of mineral oil (I use food grade oil) and spread the linkage with your fingers. It may take a few tries before it's really smooth and consistent, but it's a very quick

Well! Perfect for my pocket folding plane.

I used a leather belt with polish on the inside and finishing on the raw side. Then the belt continued to soil jeans and khakis. This is a much better alternative. I keep my pocket knives for planing/carving hardwoods (like cahuila, mamane, guava, etc.). After wetting the "soft" side with some water and cleaning the "suede", applied the green mixture (even better if it comes off like me). Ideal for knocking off burrs. Nice Starter Package

I'll probably attach it to the block but it's a quality material at a low price. And wow, the seller is interactive and knowledgeable. Do not be shy. Just buy it. Worth the price and more and although I haven't used the formulations I've heard good reviews. This brought the sharpness of my Condor Nessmuck(sp?) to a new level. Good Stropping Leather

If you want a really nice polished edge after sharpening a chisel or plane, this leather will do. I do a primary bevel (25 degrees) on chiseling/planing with a Work Sharp or slow speed grinder. Then I use the Lee Valley grinding guide to apply a secondary bevel (30 degrees) with three waterstones up to 8000. Finally I seal the secondary bevel with green compound on the leather. It takes on a high gloss finish and I will tweak it for fine work on a belt. Understand that editing is not the sameโ€ฆ

Great for Beginners - Amazing Results!

The instructions in the box are inspired. The author is patient, humble and wise. The instructions gently guided me to use the green suede side of the strap for kitchen cutlery and carrying knives. into the paper to cut through every 12 inches of the paper as if it had been sharpened at the factory.
