I knew it was a bit small before I bought it (I would have preferred a 10 inch line). Valuation. This is a high quality piece of leather and I appreciate that both the white and green composition are included. IF YOU FIRST TIME USING THE LINE: Here's a trick to evenly distribute the linkage on the lanyard - apply just a few drops of mineral oil (I use food grade oil) and spread the linkage with your fingers. It may take a few tries before it's really smooth and consistent, but it's a very quick learning curve. But the difference in results between correctly loading and not notable.NOTE TO MANUFACTURER - I rated this 4 out of 5 for 'beginner' as the instructions could be a little clearer. Just let people know that load the smooth side of the leather and choose either white or green blend - don't mix them otherwise it's a great sling for the price.
