Great device, it basically works as you think. The only caveat is that enabling the sous vide block is a bit of a trick. The screw/bracket on the back does not extend far enough to be put on when the lid is on the container. Save yourself the hassle and put the sous vide block in the cap/lid first and then put the lid on the container. It might not make sense now, but when you get to this point it will ;) If you know that, it fits perfectly. Much better than using a pot or other container that loses heat :)
