Although no installation instructions were included and I couldn't find them online, once I figured out how to install it was easy. I worry about how the hell someone without a sunroof or a hatchback can do that. The clips are not strong enough to hold them without a fastener (e.g. a closed window). I have it attached to my sunroof and hatchback front and rear and side windows. I'm afraid the clips could damage the paintwork on the car. I had no damage but all the places I attached the clips didn't touch the car paint. We packed this item pretty full, but it wasn't over-stuffed and one of the zippers broke right away. Luckily there is a second flash. That was 1100 miles in strong winds, sun and rain. You must tie up any loose ends or they will burst when riding. We couldn't figure out what the four ties were for. They seemed like total strangers. One of the ties that went in front was torn at the entrance. We didn't even use it for defense. anything. It's worn out so much. it will break soon. I have no idea how that could have happened other than the wind. Anyway it moved me and it didn't cost a ton so I'm grateful to both of them!
