Review on Children's smart watch HUAWEI Watch Kids 4 Pro Wi-Fi, blue by Adam Koodziejek ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall it's good but I expect more, there are some downsides.

The hardware itself is not bad, but the software, both on the clock and the parent application, is damp and needs to be finished. The lack of listening, movement history and removal sensor are critical, so no more than 3 stars. I hope the manufacturer will bring the software to mind, as the potential of the device is very good. Different pros: Holds battery well. Coordinate determination works quickly and accurately. Bright screen with rich colors. There are no games and voice assistants that drain the battery. The watch is claimed to be water resistant, but haven't had a chance to test it yet. There is a basic functionality - actual calls, safe zones, video calls, chat, voice messages, SMS, blocking calls except from the address book. Cons: It is necessary to install the FamCare application from the AppGallery with a tambourine and dancing, it is not in the Google app store. If the phone is not Huawei / Honor, then you still need to install HMS Core. There is no movement history on the map, only the current position. The map itself is miserable, not detailed, houses are not visible. I would like or 2gis cards. There is no sensor for removing the watch from the hand, and accordingly there is no notification in the application that the child took off the watch. The watch is quite large for a seven year old, but this is most likely due to the battery. The screen itself is small, and the icons are large, the text in the lists is cut off, only a few letters fit. In the address book, the name cannot be longer than 10 letters, spaces and underscores are not allowed, but this is a trifle. There is no listening function, that is, the ability to call the phone without the knowledge of the child, and listen to what is happening around. To activate SOS, you need to hold down the button for 5 seconds, this is a very long time. Usually on children's watches you need to make three quick presses.
