Rugged Board - Super Software

The WII Fit Board is a scale on steroids that can not only measure your weight (accurately and consistently), but more importantly, for many related games (e.g. Part of the Wii Fit Plus program) it also measures whether your weight is balanced, whether it's leaning left or right, whether it's leaning backwards or forwards. That's all the board does - it wirelessly sends that information to the console. I started the board when I was pretty damn close to her 330lbs. Border. I was afraid that my weight would quickly take the board off, but it holds up great and shows no signs of wear. I wouldn't mind if it was a bit wider for some yoga poses so I could stand with my feet shoulder-width apart. But while it's a bit far from ideal, the board is comfortable enough for this six foot and 12 foot stature. Boards. I'm 66. I've been programming since I was 22 - making, teaching, testing, playing with and building programs. I've seen a hell of a lot of it. No program available to the consumer has impressed me as much as the WII Fit Plus program. This is genius. This is funny. It is varied. There's a hell of a lot of activities included. And it's full of adorable little surprises, like the keepsake he gave me for my wife's birthday with suggestions of what I could do for her special day. Damn, when he saw that I was returning to the program day by day, he even noticed that Diane had been gone for a long time and asked about her! This is not software that has been rolled out. This is software that takes a hell of a lot of pride in making - software that goes way beyond what it took to get it out the door and on the shelves. The software is really different from serious biofeedback yoga practice from a balance board. to a variety of games that will test your balance, reflexes, adaptability, etc. The software offers a light to moderate workout that can be surprisingly challenging when it comes to yoga. It gets you moving, toning, entertaining and motivating, although it rarely makes you sweat. (There are other programs for harder workouts, but none are better for lighter ones.) There's a lot to learn and do with Wii Fit Plus. I highly recommend it and I hope you discover it for yourself. While the Wii has a lot to offer, there's no better program than this. You won't believe how much fun and usefulness can be found on a smaller scale!
