We have a 5 month old Pale Set Hound puppy (half Bloodhound, half Basset Hound), feral baby, thief and lightning fast! Hard to believe I know! I set out to find a non-electric collar that would be effective without harming her. This training collar has a shock function, but also a beep and a vibration mode. Both of the latter are very effective. However, she removed a nylon collar from the counter and chewed on it until the device fell off. I called customer service and spoke to Christina who was so sweet, helpful and just plain friendly! Result? She sent me a new collar! I am happy and thankful!
