I have owned this Radio/CD/Cassette Recorder for a number of years now. For several years he no longer played CDs reliably. As of today, the volume control no longer works. Every time I raised it to an audible level, it immediately went down to zero. Functions of radio, CD, cassette. same. I removed it from Mega Bass but there is still no volume. Sigh. Sony used to have a name that meant perfection. Products seemed "forever". Not anymore!========== But wait! And that's not all!========= About 2 weeks after I wrote the above review - after many attempts on my part to fix things - the radio seems to have "cured" itself! ? Suddenly everything that wasn't working was working again. Could he have known he was going to Goodwill?
