I bought this hard drive on December 24th, 2018 and use it to back up my photos from my main hard drive, which I do every few weeks. I went to backup the other day and got a fatal disk error after 5 uses. I then checked what the return policy was and it was 3 months to March 27th 2019. I had high hopes for this hard drive but now I'm wondering if I shouldn't have just bought something else that I'm using experience and many years of reliable service. The claim that it was "durable" drew me in, but now I understand that no matter how durable it is claimed, its reliability is more important. Now I'm stuck with a broken hard drive, maybe I just got a lemon, but at the moment I can't recommend this hard drive as it breaks after only 3 months.
