This nifty little phone holder has a very strong magnet, my iPhone 12 mini has never dropped while driving. I don't have a magnetic phone case but I did attach a magic wand to a magnetic ring on the outside of the case as the description says it is not compatible with a regular case. It holds so tight I wish I had glued the metal ring on first as it might not have been necessary. It also stays securely attached to the vent and can be adjusted for the perfect viewing angle. Most other cheap phone mounts have a silly logo that sticks out and makes them look like Chinese junk, but this one looks really great with its black, minimalist design and understated geometric logo. This mount is highly recommended for its form and functionality!
