I ordered two sizes for my sister. I didn't mind the muted gold, but she didn't care. She wanted more shiny/sparkling gold. The sleeves were too tight and the lining was too long on the arms and sticking out at the cuffs, which I noticed from photos from other reviews. If you want to roll up the cuff and show off the lining (like we did in the '80s), that's fine, but it's not the look she was aiming for. The photo shows a lady in a black jacket with the cuffs rolled up. When the sleeves are rolled up, the lining should not be visible. Also, the back lining is shorter than the length of the jacket, so due to the very thin fabric of the jacket, it's very noticeable where the lining ends. For example, if you were in a black dress with that gold jacket, it would really stand out. If you're wearing a black dress with a sequined black jacket, the cropped lining might not be as noticeable. Not worth $40. Maybe $25.
