There were some minor errors in the installation guide, plus the wiring in new cartridges is tedious but works great. The first thing I had to do on my Ranger was adjust the latch rods to make sure they jammed the latch before they were pulled far enough to open the tailgate. A slotted hole for the mounting screw would be a great improvement. After 3 years of use I am planning to replace it, it is unreliable in both locking and unlocking. I have opened the tailgate more than once without unlocking it. Part of that may be because I live on a country road, but given the price and the complexity of the setup, I wouldn't recommend it.
