October 2020 Review: Purchased from Revain Prime for $7 for two. I use one of the used 18650 batteries from old laptops with a homemade case. That works great! For others who wanted to use 18650 it will work fine but MAKE THE SOCKET CAREFUL. The spring at the bottom next to the circuit and next to the LED on the positive pole MOVES TOO EASILY (the spring) and can short out if it comes in contact with your body. So make sure you have a bushing to prevent this spring from moving before inserting it. I use the anti-static plastic that came with my hard drive or SSD. It works because it is rated for 5V and three AAA batteries are connected in series and the total voltage is similar to one of the 18650 batteries.
